Logaymat

Luqaimat (Logaymat) is a popular sweet dessert in Sudan and many Middle Eastern countries. It consists of small, round dough balls that are:

• Deep-fried until golden and crispy on the outside

• Soft and fluffy on the inside

After frying, they are traditionally coated with powder sugar or

• Sugar syrup (sharbat)
  or

• Honey
  and sometimes sprinkled with sesame seeds.
